2020: The Year we will never forget

2020: The year we will never forget We  #learned . What a devastating year it has been! Losses that can't be articulated, understood and beyond measures. We went to war, only this time all being on the same side. For me, it started with losing sense of time and screen time shooting up by 400%. Thankfully being around family helped me get a grip back. April for me was timeless ;) (Surprisingly some people are still waiting for things to get back to normal to change temporary habits of late sleeping, midnight snacking and binge watching) We learned, things that seemed important are not that important. We learned, relationships that seemed important are not that important. We learned, agility of the plan is more important than details of the plan. We learned, workplace is not 'the place' we commute everyday to and from. We learned, we don't know lots of things.(Or do we know anything?....) We learned, to enjoy small things, deeply.   This year was something serious crazy. I remember flying out from US to India in January. Covid was then only a news 'something happening in China', not in anyone's wildest imagination it would've made to every corner of the world. Unfortunately it did.  All of us have seen trying times. I never thought she will last more than 15 days without me. To tell the truth after landing in Mumbai, I was almost everyday would be expecting to receive a call from hubby to come and pick her 😀 Spending time with my mom in 2019-2020 is yet another decision I am super proud of. It was a priority for me. It was much required time together for us. We laughed, we roamed around, we ate, we slept, we watched TV, we went on walks almost everyday,  we cried sometimes and more importantly we healed together. #Blessed When pandemic hit us in January 2020, no body could really imagine scale, spread of the virus, or ...

“Roads? Where we are going doesn’t need roads.” Doc Brown says in a movie Back to the Future to Marty.  By the way he also says, ‘Marty, whatever happens don’t go to year 2020
