Beyond Horizons...

Six months of practice is finally paying off. I have started hitting the roads by myself in Navi Mumbai. Not that I have never taken a car outside but this time it was all by myself till vashi. Also getting the confidence of taking car out is specially significant as I am at the top of my shopping season. Gives lots of flexibility and convinience. Talking of shopping...news of the town is finally my lehanga(wedding dress) is being purchased. After visiting almost 15-20 shops across Mumbai for entire month I have liked this. Huhh...

Talking of football I am not crazy fan who would make plans based on match schedule, nevertheless I enjoy watching world cup matches. But this time I am scared to continue it. First Italy then Brazil and now Argentina, every other team I was supporting is out of game. I mean this can happen but even other matches where I had just picked the team randomly as favourite winners have lost(Except Portugal Vs N Koria) After seeing result of teams I was supporting, my friend Pra called me to tell rather warn that there is no team named 'Netherlands' playing this world-cup :) I think I should start supporting Germany now. By the way long week-end gave me an opportunity to shop, no shopping is not the thing which I am excited for. Guess what? I did not have to go for larger size, I still fit into the size which I am using now :) Think my predictions are not working well these days, but I am truly happy for result for later prediction.

Title of the blog could have been different if this was written few days back. It would have more exciting tone. Tone is token away by two days high fever, forced vacation, lost swimming and driving sessions. Yes. seasonal activities nowadays include swimming as well. So after a months break started swimming again. Lots of improvements, backstroke has become strong, breathing is more controlled now, enjoyment of being in water is increasing constantly, though stamina can still be improved. Need to think of this as a regular activity. Sometimes office hours, tiring travelling affect a lot making this happen. For a change started taking car by myself in a city. Have driven many times in city/outside but all the time the drive was accompanied rather monitored by somebody. Everyday when I have taken out car has become an adventure of the day. Attended a Party this week. Official party I mean with colleagues. Cant believe I attended it in first place and on top of that cant believe I danced on the floor. It was a private party organized in a pub named Twister. Nice place. Good Food. Specially starters were exquisite, actually I had only Chicken and I had only starters, but I had so many. I guess it was the pub-bar atmosphere, the taste...but I think I lost count after two :O) Person for whom this party was organized is the most composed person I have ever met, earlier pick-up line is actually his words during the party. After four unsuccessful attempts of blood donation, finally I donated a pint of blood few days back. All earlier attempts were rejected saying my weight is low and it dont fit into the eligibility criteria. So dont know whether to be happy about the action for a good cause or should I go and check my weight now?? ;) Anyway, if you are healthy and do not have Aichmophobia(Needle phobia), you should donate your blood once in a while.

I know hangover lasted for quite a long. But none the less here I am wishing you all happy new year!! Personally I don't believe in grand celebration of 31st Dec/New year. Hindi calender anyway gives multiple opportunities for 'New Year' celebration in a single calender year. Though connecting holidays, my planned vacation and some new activities made this celebration grand in a way. Last year I have missed to put many things on this blog which I wanted to for all 'convenient' reasons, hope to avoid it this year.
