Sparkling Diwali

Bright, colorful, joyful, little bit sweet little bit chatpati, sparkling diwali. One of the festival I fully enjoy. This years diwali celebration was like much awaiting moment for me. Past three years I could not enjoy it for so many reasons.Missed so much my family during all those years.
Eventhough I did not do anything special on this diwali, being with family only became grand celebration in itself. There were days when we (My brother, all cousines and I) used to start our diwali celebration some 10 days beofore and continue even after 10 days of the festival. Diwali celebration has some 5 significant days associated, which I would not like to get into. for me its a celebration of true joy.

The celebration in childhood used include shopping of clothes, preparing of Aakashkandil(Fancy lantern displayed at door at the time of diwali), shopping of crackers, making many plans of summer vacation, eating, talking, fighting, roaming around, so much of masti. My granny used to wake all of us at 4 AM (I know its little tooooooo early) make us get ready to go to temple, then day used to start with so many sweets prepared for diwali. She did not allow us to touch crackers if we are not done with all of this. It was amazing how we used to get up that early morning, eat that much without being concern about FAT Consumption, play around whole day without getting tired for a single moment. Amazing!!! Full of fun!!
Fun has not reduced these days, rather way of our enjoyment has little bit changed and still give us loads of joy and fun together.

Since I was a child I feel diwali is the festival of freshness, happiness and so much love. The preparations, decorations, newness, lights so many lights, those crackers everything gives a feeling of freshness. The season(Winter) and the lights are things which makes this festival even more beautiful. Family and friends getting togehter, spreading that joy, happiness, sweetness everywhere, is so beautiful. Along with the Independence day this is the festival I like to wish all my loved ones without fail. One of my friend Nitin is planning to make us celebrate one diwali together since long long long back :) I am really waiting for that celebration. This time some of my friends were busy cracking the CAT rather cracking the crackers. I wish them to have grand success. Missed my friend Shiva as he was busy, taking his company to new heights of success somewhere in Europe, Missed my cousine Kirti as she is busy studying so that to get into Merit list of board exams, Missed some people who were there but were not there.

I wish every year diwali brings happiness, love, prosperity, growth, success in everyones life.(This time also I was planning to write that Hindi line which I wanted to tell you all on diwali night)

Also this diwali was special as I visited Jaipur, Pink city of India. Beautiful place, amazingly beautiful architecture and sweet natured people :). Specially lightings, decorations in Ram Nagar and Market area was awesome.
Happy Diwali!!! Enjoy!!
