World of Corporates!!!
I was wondering is it only "The Deal" and "The Competition" that corporates worry about, as picturized in the movie "Corporate"
But now me being a part of corporates I can say for sure that if not all but major part of it involves, bagging a deal, sustain the competition and winning the bid. The differentiating factor among several bidders and THE WINNER always is understanding of business, either of your own or of a prospect client's. Basically that reflects how good you are at analyzing current and future business situations. But only understanding does not make you the winner.
Before that comes a several series of BUSINESS MEETINGS,
Early Morning meetings where it supposed to start with 10 members and actually starts with 5 and where every other topic gets heated up from all sides with all AWAKE members. Evening Meetings again gets speed up to finish the work.
Does anyone thinking of having 'Afternoon meets' then let me clear, Morning meets never close before lunch time gets over and evening meets never closed until Auto charges becomes one and half times more than normal :)
Its not only the schedule which binds you but also some moments, where you cant pick calls(good or bad????), You have to say no to your friends for outings, Cancel out your weekend plans...........May be that's why people don't like biz meets.
But when you see people trying to get Best of the Deal, fighting to save and gain every single penny, the tricks they use to convince their clients on SPENDING money (After all asking anyone spend money on you that too, with some out of the world reasons is worth seeing/listening right???), the thinking line of people, individual role play, Interpretations that
they make, the way statistics is moulded to its optimum and sometimes(or many times) beyond........ is really awesome.
And above all when its a discussion about some million dollars then surely worth listening and discussing.
So in spite of all that hectic schedule, I am enjoying every moment of it,......Every part of being corporate .......After all its a Business, where what you get is what you see. And to see, you need many sharp visions focusing on the GOAL.
